Hey everyone get off your lazy buts and go download this thing! I was free! And is like only one meg when ya DL it. And its legal*gasp*! [link]

This took me 5 min to make 3 min to render then about a min of post work in photoshop! And its awsome.

yea, terragen kicks ass... there are so many things you can do.
Have fun with it!

Terragen renders photorealistic 3d scenery. That's barely cutting the surface, but you have to try it to see what it can do.

very good work, but i think oyu need to work a little more on the water. The way you reflected the cloud was very well done, but the water itself need more variation, maybe toss in a few white caps, or more height differentiation

this was a doodle i made in like five min after figuring out how it worked. So yeah it isnt perfect and i hate the color of the land too. Lol but I'll keep working on it becasue this program is flippin awesome!

Well, it's an interesting first try. The skies has a very interesting colour, but their quality is quite low.

Concerning the surface layers you've added, I'd advise making the tones between the different layers of green very small, and the colours quite soft. Experiment back and forth just to see what fits the most.

The reflection of the water is a bit weird. Looks a little bad with all those streaks here and there.

But it's a good first results (: Better than most others I've come across.

PS: Try decreasing the gamma (found in the Render Options) ;)
